FRIAR LAWRENCE IS GUILTY!

Lady Capulet:

Friar Lawrence caused the death of Romeo and Juliet because he was responsible for telling Friar John to give the letter Juliet wrote for Romeo, to Romeo before anything bad "could" happen. Plus a friar is not responsible to get involved in anything sinful.

Questions for Friar Lawrence:
1) Why did you have to agree to go along with the plan?
2) If you are really a friar, why did you not think that this plan was sinful?

Review on The Newscast.

I think our group did okay with the video but I could think of many different possiblities to improve on it. For one, we could’ve organized what we were talking about clearer. We could’ve also rehearsed and went over the script properly before we actually recorded the video and made it look so lame. Another, we should’ve concentrated while recording and use formal english all the time to make it look like an actual and professional newscast. But according to my peers, our group mostly used standard english throughout the newscast.They also said that we clearly talked about how much we love Malaysia by talking about different aspects of the country. Also, in their opinion, we’ve used many different sources to help ud go through and produce this newscast. They have also said to improve on some things, like we should have made it sound more realistic, put more expressions on our faces and should have proably talked about the weather or the places to be visited in Malaysia. Overall they thought it was a pretty good newscast. So, all we have to do now is improve on those things that our fellow friends have said.

Why I Love Malaysia Newscast!

Rain in Malaysia;)

Pitter patter as the rain droplets fall from the roofs onto the floor. Malaysian rain is lovely, but not very lovely when it goes on forever, like in the monsoon season. It is a very cooling yet fresh sensation to be breathing in rainy air. People can just cuddle up warmly at home listening to the rain outside. Rain sounding like dropping beans on drums going in different directions. Even the umbrella sometimes will not cover you enough. The feeling of water sprinkling just above the ankles. The view of red and white lights on the highway like a painting. But, everyone enjoys the rain especially little kids running here and there ploping in the puddles with joy. The rain sometimes being dramatic, falling in one place, but a kilometer or so later everything is dry. It is just so beautiful and peaceful watching it. If residents live on top of the hill, they could watch as the storm floods the city. Sometimes, you can’t even see the twin towers or the KL tower because of all the fog and clouds covering them. When the sun is out to much people tend to get tired of sweating, getting hot or, as Malaysians don’t like, getting ‘darker’, they would like a few days with rain to just clear the hottness away.
